Marine Worker

The Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron is a private member club and has been in business since 1837.  The RNSYS is primarily a sailing club and it is our goal to encourage and enhance the sport of sailing within our membership and community. Home to close to 900 members from Canada, the United States, and international regions, the RNSYS is proud to offer instructional programs and on water activities for all ages, with our learn to sail program being the largest in Atlantic Canada. We also offer many social programs and accompanying facilities to ensure a wonderful experience for all.

We are looking for a qualified Marine Worker:

• Basic heavy equipment operations
• Carpentry skills
• Small boat operation
• Pleasure Craft Operators Card would be an asset
• Oxygen /acetylene and welding experience preferred
• Other projects/duties as required

The qualified candidate will have:

• Excellent communication, team and people skill
• Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
• The ability to provide excellent customer service in a demanding environment
• Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal direction
• The ability to work rotating shifts (days/evenings) with overtime as required.
