Lounge & Dining Room
Our lounge offers a comfortable sitting area with the ambiance of home, overlooking Halifax's south end and harbor entrance. An ideal setting in which to host a corporate outing, wedding, christmas party or any private function.

The dining room has a unique setting overlooking the Northwest Arm, where corporate bookings, weddings, member groups or business functions can leisurely dine.  The Saraguay House is available for bookings by members or the general public.We look forward to hosting your event.

The lounge and dining area can be reserved to host business functions, seminars and weddings.

    

 Terrace Deck & Upper Balcony
Open in the summer months, these areas are ideal for a light lunch or afternoon snack, while enjoying the sun, overlooking the lush green of the grounds and the activity on the Arm. 

Catering Facilities
The Saraguay House has two areas that are primarily used for private functions, both overlooking the Northwest Arm. The McInnes Room, which opens onto the upper balcony is suitable for smaller parties, meetings and dinners of up to 24. The lower Terrace Room and deck can accomodate up to 125 guests for a reception and dinner or a cocktail reception of up to 200. The Main Lounge and Dining Room can also be reserved to host private functions. We have catering menus from which you can make your selection, or we can design a special menu to meet the needs of a specific event.
