Calling all Cruisers & Sailing Enthusiasts!
The RNSYS cruises are designed to ensure some learning experiences and to make sure that all boat owners can participate. In short, we want to ensure all boats join the cruises so we can maximize the enjoyment. Every cruise will include some form of boating education from anchoring to rafting and navigation.
This year we are again presenting:
Cruise Buddy Program – Any member who would like to cruise but does not have a boat can email the RNSYS and put their name on a list. Boat owners will have access to this list and be able to round out their cruising crew. This is a good way for more people to get involved with cruising and provide expertise for people with boats that may want help cruising. Cruise Crew Wanted Program – Any boat owning member that would like to cruise but does not have enough people to make the trip enjoyable can email the RNSYS and put their name on a list. People interested in cruising can then be matched with boat owners who would require some help. Expert List – A list of people who have extensive cruising experience and would be willing to share their expertise by sailing along with any boat owners in need of help. This program is designed to make cruising available for all boat owners.

FIRST CRUISE OF THE SEASON
Are you ready??? The weekend of June 18-20th is shaping up to be a busy/great weekend for the members of RNSYS. Things will kick off on Friday night, the 18th with our annual pier party—details to follow.
On Saturday, things will start bright and early for those of you cruisers planning to attend the first cruise of the year . We will be sailing to Sea Rover Marina in Jeddore Hr.; approximately 25 miles; returning to the Squadron on Sunday by 4-5 pm. . A brief captain’s meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday; with departure scheduled for 9 am.
Sea Rover Marina is the newest marina on the Eastern Shore and offers rooms (for those who choose not to sleep aboard) a restaurant and a pool. The marina has some docks available as well as moorings.
Dinner is planned for Saturday night at the restaurant so it is important that we have the number of people attending. Please RSVP to rburton@accesswave.ca
1) if you plan to attend the cruise
2) if you plan to attend the dinner (own expense) or
3) if you plan to drive down and join us for the dinner.
This is a great opportunity to renew old friendships and meet new cruisers, so please join us on our very first cruise of the season! Hoping to see you on the water.
