The Yacht Squadron Clubhouse also has a deck, located waterside, and is used as an extension of our regular dining area in the summer.  Located adjacent to the Clubhouse is the Spar Loft., used in the winter for mast and spar storage, this large space, with a seating capacity of 250, is perfect for larger scale casual events. 

The Saraguay House caters to groups of 5 to 150 in the privacy of its Main Level Lounge and Dining Room, as well as, the McInnes and Terrace Rooms.

Whether your function is casual and family orientated or meant to impress important clientele, our facilities will provide exactly what you’re looking for. To ensure added confidence, we would be more than happy to arrange a viewing time prior to your event. Remember, your piece of mind is ours.

We are pleased to offer the following meeting and function facilities:

Commodore’s Room

Located on the second floor of our clubhouse, this room comfortably accommodates groups of up to 24 people. Ideal for hosting business meetings or dinners, this room provides a beautiful water-view overlooking the serene boating life of our Club.

Chart Room

Also located on the second floor of our clubhouse, this room is a quaint alternative to the larger Commodore’s Room. Ideal for hosting smaller gatherings of up to 10 people, this room will provide a perfect setting for you and your guests.

Dining Room

Located on the first floor of our clubhouse, our smart-casual dining room is also available for function bookings. This room comfortably accommodates seating of up to 30 people and is a wonderful venue for company meetings, group seminars, or an important anniversary dinner for your family.

Wardroom

Also located on the first floor, our picturesque Wardroom is the hub of our clubhouse. Surrounded by its rounded wall of windows, it features a grand view of our marina and the spectacular Northwest Arm. The Wardroom also serves as the permanent resting place of our club’s most prized possession, The Prince of Wales Trophy, donated by its namesake. Ideal for hosting groups of up to 60 people, however is only available for booking during the month of December or with club management approval.

Spar Loft

Located on the Southside of our property, this sizable facility is ideal for hosting larger scale events of up to 250 people during the months of May to October. Although simple in structure and décor, with a little decorative know-how, our Spar Loft can easily be transformed into the perfect venue for wedding receptions, a family reunion, or a lovely wine-tasting reception – the possibilities are endless! The RNSYS has its own outside catering company to assist with all details of your Spar Loft function to ensure that your event is worry-free and well attended to.

Meeting Equipment

The RNSYS has a variety of audio/visual materials on-site to enhance your private function. As well, the RNSYS has several suppliers of rentals, florists, musical ensembles and DJ’s readily available for booking.
