We would like to remind all our boating members of the following preparations for the upcoming Hurricane season:
Marinas Holders:
· Check lines and fenders
· Double up on all lines and fenders
· Ensure that your boat is sprung well away from the main marina trunk
· Remove or tie any loose items that may come adrift during high wind
· Remove unnecessary dodgers and sails
· Remove or coil garden hoses properly on the racks provided
· Removed unnecessary electrical cord and ensure in service ones are properly secured and
are not a tripping hazard
· Latch all service doors on marina electrical post
Mooring Holders:
· Remove or tie any loose items that may come adrift during high wind
· Remove unnecessary dodgers and sails
· Check your bridle above and below the waterline and remove any twist or kinks that may
appear ASAP. Periodically reposition the upper eyes of your bridle to provide a different wear
