Wednesday Race Series

Welcome to our popular Wednesday evening races. The season is split into three series with a one week break between Series II and Series III to accommodate Chester Race Week.

The starts for Series I are at 6:30pm and will usually be south of the lighthouse.
The starts for Series II will also be at 6:30pm and south of the lighthouse.
The starts for Series III are at 6:00pm and will be north of the lighthouse.

Please check the race documents for full details. No registration is required. Participation is open to club boats only, and the owner and/or driver must be a club member. Boats representing Bedford Basin Yacht Club (BBYC) are exempt from this requirement and are eligible to compete in the first three races of the opening Wednesday Night Series.

The Cross Town Challenge

The first three Wednesday night races at RNSYS will be open to BBYC boats, and the last three Wednesday night races of the year at BBYC will be open to RNSYS boats.  
There will be no cost to sailors in either direction, with reciprocal rights applying for those three Wednesday night races.  

We encourage you to get in on the fun as we use the natural assets of both clubs extend the season for us all.  Please give our BBYC friends a warm welcome when you see them around.
